Have you ever gone on a vacation and forgot that you brought your kid? No?! Just me?! This was our experience at the Paradisus los Cabos in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. My husband and I brought our 3 year old toddler with us to Cabo for a break from the COVID lockdown. Little did we know that the Kids Club would have her so occupied, that we’d have most of the day time to ourselves.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and escorted to our lovely room, with a great view of the pool. Our active little one was immediately ready to hit the water, so we headed down to the pool area and sat in lounge chairs near signs that said “Kids Club.” Not so long after, one of the Kids Club assistants, with a few children in tow, came over to grab our little one for some pool games. That gave hubby and I plenty of time to down some drinks from the bar and grab food.
I figured that would be it, but an hour after they returned her to us, she was swooped up again for a crafts class. She made bracelets and painted pictures, met new friends and came back to us with a huge smile. Every day, this continued that way. Pool time fun, art and crafts, table tennis etc. Then they would return her to us exhausted, so nap time allowed for even more Mommy-Daddy time!
We felt so comfortable with the Kids Club crew that we used the Paradisus babysitting services for a parents night out. Andy, took our little one on a nature walk, to movie night, ordered dinner and made a house for her action figures. The two of them became besties and she was attached to Andy’s hip the rest of the trip.
The resort has plenty for adults and kids alike but they really wowed us with how much they took care of the young crowd, which made it extra special for the adults. I was already a big fan of Melia properties so the Paradisus was icing on the cake.
